Encouraging Community.
We take pride in being an employer that provides and encourages a sense of family and community.
Going back
generations.
The McGrath family has always been involved in agriculture. It started with Gerald & Bea’s grain farm and a small herd of hogs. As their family grew and matured, their sons remained in the area and joined the family farm.
The heart of the operation.
For many years, grain farming was the primary focus, even though Gerald had worked his way up to a 50 sow herd. In the late 1980’s, all the pigs were sold and the operation strictly focused on grain farming.
Inception.
The idea of raising hogs again became reality in 1997 when the McGrath family decided to build a 1200 sow ‘farrow to finish’ facility, which became the inception of Sinnett Pork Farm Ltd.
